Challenge yourself to go the distance for kids and families!
Join Very Special Kids as we take on the glorious Yarra Valley – hills, valleys and more. On Friday 27 February 2026, you’ll ride over 120 kilometres, challenging yourself on the hills and enjoying the mountain views. With every pedal of your bike, you’ll be part of something really special, as together you raise $300,000 for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families. This event SOLD OUT by 31 January last year, so get in quick to reserve your place.

Registration fee: $600, which provides you with:

Full on-road support including mechanical, medical, first aid, and safety and traffic management

Fundraising goal: $2,000 per person, which helps provide holistic paediatric palliative care to seriously ill children and young people, and tailored support for their families – through life, death and bereavement.
Very Special Kids is the only children’s hospice in Victoria and provides free of charge support to over 700 families across Victoria. To provide these services, we rely on the generosity of people like you to raise funds on our behalf. By taking on the Very Special Ride, you will help provide seriously ill children and their families with the vital support they need.
Strictly limited to 50 places.
Register today for just $100 deposit to book your spot then pay the remaining $500 by invoice by 16 January 2026 to secure your place in the Very Special Ride.

At Very Special Kids, we believe all children and young people have the right to quality of life, no matter how long or short their life may be. We provide holistic paediatric palliative care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions as well as tailored support for their families – through life, death and bereavement.
No child should have to go through their journey alone. Very Special Kids House is Victoria’s only children’s hospice, and we provide statewide support, including in the Yarra Valley and surrounding regions. By joining the Very Special Ride, you’re helping children, young people and their families to be supported through every stage of their journey.
