Join Very Special Kids as we take on the glorious Yarra Valley – hills, valleys and more. On Friday 27 February 2026, you’ll ride over 92 kilometres, challenging yourself on the hills and enjoying the mountain views. With every pedal of your bike, you’ll be part of something really special, as together you raise $330,000 for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Fundraising goal: $2,000 per person, which helps provide holistic paediatric palliative care to seriously ill children and young people, and tailored support for their families – through life, death and bereavement.
Very Special Kids is the only children’s hospice in Victoria and provides free of charge support to over 700 families across Victoria. To provide these services, we rely on the generosity of people like you to raise funds on our behalf. By taking on the Very Special Ride, you will help provide seriously ill children and their families with the vital support they need.

At Very Special Kids, we believe all children and young people have the right to quality of life, no matter how long or short their life may be. We provide holistic paediatric palliative care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions as well as tailored support for their families – through life, death and bereavement.
No child should have to go through their journey alone. Very Special Kids House is Victoria’s only children’s hospice, and we provide statewide support, including in the Yarra Valley and surrounding regions. By joining the Very Special Ride, you’re helping children, young people and their families to be supported through every stage of their journey.
